From Colorado in the USA. He studied piano at Brigham Young University, film score composition at Berklee College of Music, and currently teaches piano and writes for various diverse musical projects.

Collaborating with Lauren Laws, as Laws & Leavitt, he wrote the music for Lovestruck!, an award-winning musical hort film that they adapted for high school theater programs. You can listen to his music on YouTube.

Jack Shapiro is an actor, a vocal coach, astrologer and breath work facilitator. Recent work: Twelve Angry Men: A New Musical, Asolo Rep.
